MEDITATION:

We set our goals. We focus. We’re driven. We celebrate wins. And we learn valuable lessons along our way to our destination. And that’s great. However, there are times when it’s noisy and we desire to unplug. We may find ourselves engaged in something that has AbSOULutely nothing to do directly with our goal. It could be writing poetry, listening yo music, singing a song, photographing a flower, gazing at cloud formations. These are mental breaks that induce a lower frequency in the brain producing an inner calm and peace. And when we emerge out of these states, we feel refreshed, and vibrate at an alpha state where we’re co-creating new ideas and take action on the next manifestation phase.

TAP-IN:

To tap-in to this state, find a comfortable seated position or sit criss cross apple sauce. Extend your arms down to your sides. With your palms facing the sky, rest your right hands (representing enlightenment” over your left hands (representing illusion” with your thumbs touching arching over like in the photo,

NIA/PURPOSE:

This mudra (intentional hand position that facilitates healing states of KAtiouness and being) is called Dhyana.  “The significance of this mudra,” as written by The Chopra Center, “is to bring you into deeper, more profound concentration. This gesture can also help bring you tranquility and inner peace.”

The elements related to this mudra include the perfect balance of Sun, Air, Water, and Earth.

REMEMBER YOUR BREATH:

Now close your eyes to go deeper into rest, and take three large breaths in filling up your body with life giving oxygen.  Feel it sweep like magikal fall leaf swirling through every part of your being from your dome, chest, arms, stomach, thighs, knees and toes.  Upon exhale, release all tension, toxins, and broken up cellular debris, and environmental noise and watch that fall leaf blow away.
